Victory for Injured Workers in Iowa
The win of the appealed case is a big victory for Iowans who have been injured at work, because the court found that an injury to a scheduled member, even if it is combined with an injury to an unscheduled member, is a qualifying injury under 85.64. The court was very strongly divided on the claim, but came out on the right side of the issue.
