Are You Being Paid the Right Amount?

If you have been hurt on the job your injuries may qualify for weekly benefits from your employer. If so, the amount you receive for your weekly workers’ compensation benefits is based on your average weekly wages which is your weekly income (not including extra pay for overtime) before taxes. You will then receive 80% of your spendable earnings based on your average weekly wages. This is usually a little less that you normally take home after taxes.
