Factory worker recovers damages he did not know he was eligible for
A former Maytag factory worker who sustained work injuries to his arms filed a claim against the Iowa Second Injury Fund because he previously sustained a non-work related knee injury. An Iowa workers' compensation judge found that he sustained 35% industrial disability ordering the Second Injury Fund to pay more than $78,000 in benefits that the injured worker did not know he was eligible for until he spoke with Corey.
