An Iowa State Patrol Officer (trooper) came to see us after he was involved in a crash involving a fleeing suspect.  The crash caused him to sustain injuries to his back and brain.  While his brain injury healed, his back injury did not. Which required him to take a medical disability from his job as he could no longer be involved in combative situations with a suspect.
