Iowa Construction Worker Makes Financial Recovery Following Surgery

A construction worker in his mid 30's came to see us after he sustained a back injury which required a lumbar laminectomy surgery.  The insurance company for his employer did not want to pay what his case was worth so we filed a petition and had a trial.  The workers' compensation judge found that he sustained 65% industrial disability (worth more than $125,000).  Now our client has enough money to go back to college and get a degree so he can use his brain instead of his back.
