Des Moines Motorcycle Rider Obtains $300,000 prior to trial

A longtime motorcycle rider from Des Moines who always worked construction was in a preventable crash.  Unfortunately, a lady driving a car was talking on her phone instead of paying attention to the road.  She pulled directly into the path of his motorcycle causing a crash that she could have avoided.  Our client sustained a serious leg injury and some broken ribs which required him to take several months off from his construction job.  As a former Marine, he made a good recovery from his injuries.  After the deposition of the defendant driver, we were able to settle the case for $300,000.
