A nurse from north central Iowa contacted us about her work-related back injury. Her longtime employer liked her work and wanted to keep her working anyway that they could. She did have to have two back surgeries which helped and she was able to resume her work as an RN albeit in a slightly different and accommodated position. She was not aware that she should receive compensation for her loss of earning capacity even though she was back to work making the same amount of money.
